Fried cabbage with bacon is a simple and tasty side dish.
Cabbage is a vegetable available all year round and it is so easy to fry it to accompany any meal! It’s as simple as frying cabbage and there are many ways to make it more interesting! I love to start baking bacon, both to have the bacon in the fried cabbage and to use the bacon fat to fry the cabbage and add a ton of flavor! I also like to add a diced/sliced onion and if I have a red pepper on hand, that’s a great addition. I love to finish the fried cabbage with a little vinegar or even hot sauce! Fried cabbage is a super quick and easy side for any meal, especially for a corned beef dinner on St. Patrick’s Day!
